Angel of death

The tears welled, obscuring sight,
Crying for what they were going to see,
Lifeless souls entombed in night,
An Angel then revealed to me:

"If you mourn that which is dead,
I pity you the tears you weep,
The grave is just an earthen bed,
And death is only sleep."
